Detention Deputy Sheriff The Lincoln County Sheriffs Office is seeking dedicated, professionals who want to make a difference in their community. The Sheriff's Office has the following position available: One Detention Deputy Sheriff position in Kemmerer.
The Lincoln County Sheriffs Office is currently taking applications for this position. Candidates will remain on the hiring register for a period of twelve (12) months. Certified candidates will receive a Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE), physical agility, psychological, and medical examination. An oral board interview and a thorough background investigation will also be done. Application deadline: July 18th 2008 at 1700hrs. Testing: July 24th, Physical Fitness Test and TABE Test. Law Enforcement Administrative Assistant The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is looking for a self motivated individual for the position of full time Administrative Assistant at the Afton Office. Applicants will be required to take a written basic education test as well as a typing test. Successful applicants will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and possess good basic computer, grammar & writing skills. Law Enforcement Dispatcher The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is looking for motivated individuals who are interested in becoming law enforcement dispatchers. We currently have part-time positions open in our Afton and Kemmerer offices. The position requires being available to work different shifts, weekends and holidays. Candidates should possess good communication, listening and memory skills, be able to multitask and work under pressure and in emergency situations. Certified candidates will receive a Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE), physical agility, psychological, and medical examination.
