No liquids or hazardous wastes are accepted except as listed below:
Kemmerer Landfill

Location: Approximately 3 miles east of Kemmerer off US Highway 30 on County Road 345
Operation Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Closed on Sunday, Monday and holidays.
When a holiday falls on a Monday, the preceding Saturday is considered the holiday except for Labor Day, Memorial Day, and President's Day. On the Saturdays preceeding these holidays, the landfill is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Types of waste accepted (must be separated):
- Household solid waste
- Demolition/Construction material
- Lead acid batteries
- Tires
- Scrap metal, including white goods
- Dead animals
- Clean fill
- Small quantities of used motor oil
- Limited amounts of petroleum contaminated soil
Rates: vary with load size
Tire Rates: depend on the size
Cokeville Landfill

Location: End of County Road 206 off State Highway 232
Operation Hours:
Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Closed on holidays.
