ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed BIDS for a general contract for the Lincoln County, GUARDRAIL INSTALLATION HRRR CN 12053 & 12057 PROJECT consisting of approximately the following items:

Approximately 717 lineal feet of guardrail to be installed along Muddy String County Road 117 and approximately 1860 lineal feet of guardrail to be installed in three places along Crow Creek County Road 141.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at or obtained from, The Lincoln County Office of Planning and Engineering at the following locations:

Kemmerer – 520 Topaz St. Suite 109 Afton - 61 East 5th Ave.

Sealed Bids will be received at the Kemmerer Planning Office, 520 Topaz, Suite 109, Kemmerer, Wyoming, 83101 or at the Afton Planning Office, 421 Jefferson Street, Suite 701 (mailing), 61 E. 5th Ave. (Physical), Afton, Wyoming 83110 until 5:00 P.M. local time, as determined by the County, Monday, June 4, 2012. Bids should be marked on the outside “GUARDRAIL INSTALLATION HRRR CN 12053 & 12057 PROJECT” with the name and address of the bidder. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the meeting of the Lincoln County Board of County Commissioners to be held at the Lincoln County Court House, 925 Sage Avenue, Kemmerer, Wyoming, at approximately 11:30 A.M. local time, Tuesday, June 5, 2012.

If, at the time the contract is to be awarded, the OWNER determines that the amount of funds available is sufficient to finance the Project, the contract may be awarded to the lowest responsible BIDDER. Determination of the lowest responsible BIDDER shall take into account all applicable provisions of Wyoming Statutes 1977, as amended.

This project is partially funded using Federal Grant Funds. Therefore, all Federal Requirements associated with the use of these funds must be followed for this project.

Projects over $100,000 require bonding. The successful bidder must, within fifteen (15) calendar days or less after notification of award, deliver to the Board of Lincoln County Commissioners.

The Lincoln County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them.
